TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Team Requirements - Teams playing in a Global Sports Vacations hockey tournament are required to bring a minimum of eleven players. Teams participating in the accommodations package are required to take a minimum of six rooms per event and will be charged for two players per room for six rooms.
Free Package to Team Rep - Being a Team Rep requires a lot of work. Global Sports Vacations Inc. appreciates your efforts by offering one free package (at Player/Coach cost) for every 20 adults attending with your group. Option # 1 weekend package only.
Payment Schedule - Payment signifies your group acceptance of our terms and conditions.
Method of Payment - Payments will be accepted by Visa and MasterCard. NO PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED.
Team Deposit - U.S. and Canadian Tournaments - Option #1 (weekend package) payment of player’s weekend package fee is to be faxed in with team registration form. See team registration form for tournament deposit.
Option # 2 (tournament entry fee – no accommodations). See team registration form for tournament deposit.
2nd payment - U.S. Tournaments - Payment of $100.00 (U.S.) per person attending the tournament to be faxed with player roster form.
2nd payment - Canadian Tournaments - Payment of $100.00 (Cdn) per person attending the tournament to be faxed with player roster form.
Final Payment - Balance of total group payment must be faxed to Global Sports Vacations office no later than 60 days prior to tournament date. * Failure to meet the final payment due date will result in cancellation of team reservations and loss of team deposit and 2nd payment. Visa or MasterCard payment required for late payments.
Cancellation Policies - 60 or more days prior to tournament - loss of team deposit and first payment. 59-15 days prior to tournament - loss of 50% of total team payment. 14 days prior to tournament - loss of 100% of team payment.
Room Changes - The hotel requires that Global Sports Vacations submit the group rooming list no later than 30 days in advance of the tournament date. Any changes to a team’s rooming list will result in a $20.00 administration charge.
Insurance Policies - Each player is required to sign an assumption of risk form before playing their first tournament game. Global Sports Vacations Inc. does not provide insurance coverage. To cover major problems such as cancellation and health insurance, consult your local travel agency. Some type of insurance coverage should be considered by each individual.
